4th of July Celebrations

We started our celebrations on Friday the 3rd. We had some of Damon's family over for a bbq and some store bought fireworks. Alyssa was so excited for the fireworks, every 5 minutes she would come and ask if it was time yet. She told all the neighborhood kids too, which I decided was fine as long as they stayed seated and followed the rules. I would have felt terrible if someone had gotten hurt.

As for Saturday, we took the kids to see the Layton Parade, which they enjoyed very much. Bridger would just keep saying "Big Truck." This is his new favorite thing to say and look for.

Afterwards we headed up to my parents house for a little birthday celebration. It was Baylie, Cayden, and TJ's birthday this week. Briena planned a water party with cupcakes for the kids to decorate. They all loved the new sprinkler toy and swimming pool, even when the daddy's were throwing water balloons at them.

We took the kids to see the Clearfield fireworks that evening, which was so much fun. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it as well as the parents. My sister Kamri saved us some great spots again, Thanks Kamri and Todd, so we would have to be there quite so early.

I really like the 4th of July; having a great excuse to get together with family and celebrating our independence. What a fun weekend.
