Last week was spent taking the kids places before school starts again. Briena, I, and the kids went and saw Monsters and Aliens at the Syracuse 6 on Wednesday morning. The older kids loved it, but Bridger and TJ couldn't sit through the entire movie, so I ended up taking them outside to run.
On Thursday we took the kids to the Childrens Treehouse Museum in Ogden. This has become one of our favorite places. There is lots to see and do that the kids don't get bored at all. In fact, you will probably always find us at the train tables right in front. The boys love this area. They added another part this time and Bridger loved it. They had a barn where you could milk a cow, yes it wasn't real, a sheep with an electronic head that moved, and outside the barn they had some horses and a bull you could dress up and pretend to ride. It was pulling teeth to get Bridger off the horses so other children could have a ride.
Friday we took the kids to the Clearfield Aquatic Center. We had the dads meet us after lunch to help out and play. We really enjoyed the outside playing area. This is where the black eye comes in. Alyssa bumped her head on the stairs, I didn't see it happen, but this is what she says. By the end of the night, it was blacker and blacker. You would think we were beating here the way it looked.
We really had fun this week and hope to go to Kangaroo Zoo this week if anyone wants to join us.
